Engine Controls

Post by Jerry Folkerts » Sat Feb 06, 2016 2:33 pm

Does anyone have good locations to cut holes for engine controls through the firewall for a Moose/Super Rebel with a carbureted 0-540? It's time I cut those holes before putting the engine mount etc. on.
Thanks,

Jerry,
I ran mine between the two vertical channels and below the horizontal channel. I'm not sure if your firewall is setup like mine so feel free to call if you want to discuss. Nine eight zero seven two two six three five six.

Hi Jerry,
I put the engine and mount in position without the firewall and connected the control cables from panel to engine. That way the cables took their natural shape. By measuring the cables positions I could then cut holes in the firewall to suit.
Cheers. Mike.
