Remarkable Service.

Yesterday I was working at installing a SMA connector on some RG400 coax for my Sandia STX-165 Transponder. I messed up the install, and ruined the connector. It was the end of the working day anyway, so at 7:30 pm I email Sandia Sales asking for a new connector. At 7:38 my phone rang, and Barry LeBlanc, Regional Sales Manager, called me and said that they would ship me a new connector the next day. I got an email today and it said that a new one is on the way. This is the most remarkable service I have ever seen. 8 minutes from request to answer. Exceptional!!

Related to the transponder install, thanks to those who pointed me in a direction to obtain fittings. However, in an effort to keep things simple as possible, I think I will follow Wayne's advice and just vent that stuff to cockpit air. If I have trouble with that in the future, I can always add back some static ports and the required tubing.
