A new Elite Flys

Post by rknight » Sun Sep 15, 2013 9:53 am

After many years of building GKRD had it's first flight on Sept 12, 2013 flown by Gilbert Tessier, who did a great job of flying. The first flight lasted for 45 minutes and He reported that it flew very well and only requires a few minor adjustments. The engine is O-320 Leavens rebuild that I had purchased with the help of Wayne O'Shea. The temps and presures were all within operating limits.

Wow, a nose gear. Congrats, great plane, and I'm sure you will enjoy it. And good job, Gilbert.
