Sun N Fun

Post by c120pilot » Tue Apr 03, 2012 3:04 pm

I went to Sun N Fun for two days this year ( drove for the last time I hope ). I went to the corn roast at 4 pm till almost 8 and asked around for any Rebel builders. Got to share some flying stuff with others but did not meet any Murphy builders.
I did get some good deals on parts. Radio, transponder, alt encoder, engine monitor, oil filter kit, camshaft, new jugs, pistons, piston pins. Brought parts to be machined by ECI so saved some freight charges. Having crankshaft and rods balanced so it will be silky smoooth.
Spent some extra time in Florida to fly with my friend in his Citabria and got my BFR done as well. Now it is time to head back to Georgia to get the fuel lines and flooring done.

Sorry you didn't meet any Rebel builder's at SNF I'm located in East Al near KPLR with a flying Rebel. Might be close enough for a visit.
