Eric,
How do you like that MT prop? Do you have that on floats?
I would like to get something better than our 72" Hartzell. The MT looks tempting but a lot of money.

I like the MT, it is similar to the one offered as an option on the Husky. Even as a constant speed prop, it weighs less than a fixed pitch aluminum prop including the prop governor. So it has a weight and a performance advantage.

But its spinner is much larger requiring extensive cowl work. I believe Hartzel has a composite constant speed prop too and might be worth looking into if it uses a more standard size spinner.

And then there is the price...ouch.

I am usually on 1800 amphib floats and love the performance.
