A fellow builder needs a couple of AIL0027 brass bushings. Please email me tedwaltman@gmail.com or the builder, Larry Lechner lechnerl@me.com, if you have a couple you can sell/mail to Colorado. Thank you! Ted Waltman

Ted,

I don't have any extra brass bushings, but they are not hard to make even without a lathe. I had a need for an extra 6-8 bushings and made them by cutting out 1.25" dia washers from 0.063" brass sheet stock using a flycutter in a drill press and adding a 0.5" center hole with a Unibit.
A flanged bronze bushing(from the local hardware store-$5.00) 0.5 OD, 0.375 ID is hard soldered into the center hole.

(Been trying to post a photo of this --to no avail)

Here is the photo of a homemade version of AIL0027 that I tried to post yesterday (without success).

Forgot to reply... have none! Sorry.

An old habit of reading the emails and responding to them later. The step of having to come into the forum to reply just gets lost some days..
