Hi Ramblers !

It's getting close !! Things are falling into place,
as much as they ever do for Rambling .... ;-)

Iroquois - ident: CNP7
==============
Here's an email from John Ross, Airport Manager --
------------------------------------------------
Hi Bob,

I have just been given the camping rate for those of you who do not  need
power or water connections.  It is $12.50 per night so hope this is  OK.
Use of all other facilities, showers, etc. is included.

We'll set up picnic tables under a covered area for your supper
get-together.  We'd like to provide you with a barbeque, burgers and the
trimmings and canned drinks as our contribution to your Ramble.  What else
would you like to have?  With the decline in flying these days we want to
do all we can to support groups like yours.  By now I'm  assuming you
will choose us over Cornwall for your overnight stay.

Did you know that we are having our 42nd annual breakfast fly-in on Sunday
the 20th??  It would be great to have you all here again for this if your
travel plans, weather etc. permits.

Regards,

John Ross

How's that for a warm welcome ! Looking forward to a great evening
camping in Iroquois ..... (There is a motel, for those so inclined ..)

St. Basile - ident: CTR6 (Marcotte)
=====================

Jean has planned a BBQ afternoon/evening at his house for the
evening of July 13th, where we will be joined by several Quebec flyers...
maybe they will Ramble on with us.

We can camp at the Centre Nature in St. Basile, and, if there are
enough of us, they will cook us an “assiette brunchâ€

HI Ramblers

1- more than a bit of 100LL at St-Basile...
2- The St-Basile/Marcotte runway is home of 2 "heavy" Lake L-4 (180-200
hp), 1 x C-150 (mine), a part time Sonerai II, and a Cherokee 150 hp... So
all of you should be able to make that runway... The owner told me
yesterday that the grass will be fresh cut and everything sets for all of
you! He is really what we call a gentleman...
3- At St-Basile, we all use 123.45 when we are couple of miles from the
village
4- Much less traffic than St-Raymond...Closer from Centre Nature and my
home (4 minutes drive!)

Anxious to shake you hand!
