[rebel-ramble] a point of interest

Great observations, Tom !!
As we say about the Rambles - the object is much like LIFE -
to ENJOY THE TRIP .... not to 'get to the end' !! :-)
The world will survive without us for a few weeks ...
almost ALL of the things we worry about never happen.
Great things don't necessarily cost any more than doing
nothing ... or the daily routine...
And now you know the secret - You CAN do ANYTHING you
want to !!! The possibilities are endless - most folks build their
own cages.... and now you have tasted freedom !!
It's pretty hard to settle back to "reality" (the OLD reality)
once you've been free for a while !
Welllllll..... since we're waiting for the bumps to re-inflate,
maybe next year we could do a mini-ramble --- just one week,
to the Ottawa aviation museum, and on to beautiful Quebec
City for a few days in "Canada's Europe" ... Closer, and
much less expensive ! ;-)
We enjoy helping people reach their dreams - and
most Rebel builders really do dream of finishing & flying
their Rebels to someplace exotic. We really enjoyed everybody's
company, the comraderie, the scenery, and the sharing of
experiences - it's great to widen your horizons as to what
is really possible !
All of the Ramblers have realized much more of their
true potential than the vast majority of the world's populace !!
Enjoy it, and keep on enjoying LIFE without limits !! :-)

I am glad to hear everyone is home, safe and sound.
Since I have got home, I have received all kinds of comments from people I

Wow, that is the trip of a lifetime. I wish I could do that!,

Are you some kind of idiot? those rocks are big and hard!
thankfully, most were of the positive side.
a few interesting points
-that is the longest I have been away from work since the factories were
built. when I got back everything was fine.
- as I look after two plants, and one is a 45 minute drive in a thirsty
pickup truck, it appears at this point that
I SPENT LESS ON GAS ON THE REBEL RAMBLE, THAN I WOULD HAVE IF I STAYED AT
HOME AND WENT TO WORK EVERY DAY!
an interesting exercise in budgeting. did anyone else notice this??
anyway, as you can see, I have already started to build a case for the next
trip.
never too soon to get thinking about it!
Atlantic anyone?
Bahamas anyone?
Artic and Yukon anyone?
to quote Bob, I guess we better wait for the bumps to grow back on the
credit cards, before we start the next trip!
