[rebel-ramble] The Last Rambler

After 40.3 hours and about 4000 miles of Rebel droppings, FOKM is back
in her nest, and I am home. It took 3 days starting on Saturday to make
the pilgrimage from OSH to High River but it was largely uneventful. A
few bumps and hot hot days with lift and sink and lift and sink (and a
few thump thumps) until just 60 miles east of High River, where I
finally went thru a cold front. Not-with-standing Ron's misgivings, I
did make it by myself. : ) And I wasn't afraid!!

We had a great time so many thanks to Bob and Anna for organizing this
thing. Now some of the people on this list have faces and personalities
for us. Thats great. Maybe Bob will reconsider another one is a few
years. (Having to buy a xpndr for next time will not be end of life as
we know it Bob : ) )

Glad to hear you're home safe and sound Gary. It was a pleasure meeting you
and Ron and enjoyed your "Leadership" (FOKM usually left first and we played
catch-up).
We're having a little get together at Tom's on the 11th of August and I'm
sure you can still make it!!!

Cheers
Jim - WOK

Hmm. That would be another several thousand miles. Guess I'll have to
pass as Gail expects me to be home for a while. We westerners may have
to start a ramble of our own when you folks do the Quebec City one. When
Ron gets airborne we may have enough guys out here to do one.

Good to meet you guys. Learned lots and had lots of fun.
