Possible stop on Ramble 2007

Hi Garry !
They may - or they might want to get going East a bit early.
That runway is pretty narrow !! Looks like W28, nearby,
would be a much better bet, and they have fuel too ....
Airnav.com is a tremendous resource for planning - good
idea to print out pages for anywhere one plans to visit -- lots
of useful info there !
Always good to have suggestions - it's 'navigation by consensus' !
:-) :-)
Getting excited !! Not long now !!
Planning meeting this Sunday, 10:30 AM, at Brampton RAA ....

Bob,
Ron has a fairly advanced project under way at a site about 41 nm sw of
Arlington. Ron and I will almost certainly take a diversion there on the
Ramble and suggest that others may similarly be interested. See below.
If others would like to join we could do a group flight and if not we
will simply catch up. Seems like a good option.
Garry

According to Airnav, it's 40.8 NM from Arlington (KAWO) to Rake's Glen
(WA59), on heading of 267 deg. true, across Puget Sound and the
spectacular San Juan Islands, gazing at the snow capped Olympics, of
course. And dodging the C-5A's going in and out of Whidbey Naval Air
Station.
