Hi Ron !
There are several people looking for shared Rebels, or even
maybe renting a spam-can, so you might be able to hook up with
one of them.
The speed governments work is a problem - there's NO reciprocal
deal for Sport Pilot into Canada, and also NO deal for Canadian
Owner Maintained class into the U.S. ! :-(
That isn't likely to change in time for the Ramble ... :-(
Of course, it's pretty hard to tell one Rebel from another
in a bunch ... ;-) Not that anyone would ever do such a
thing .. ;-)
(But your insurance wouldn't cover you if anything happened ... :-( )

Bob, et al.
Count me very interested in the Ramble. I don't know if 254R will be
ready, but even if not, I'd sure like to join someone else at least for
part of the trip. If 254R is ready, as a sport pilot I would need
special permission to fly in Canadian airspace, because the SP ticket
"does not comply with ICAO requirements" and flight outside the US
requires special permissions. Getting permission to fly to Canada is
something I want to do anyway, Ramble or not. Besides, how could Nav
Canada refuse a BC-born Murphy Rebel? :-)

Ron
