Feedback wanted !!

I sent this message last week, but it looks like it did not go
out, so I'm trying again, now that the list seems to be working.

We will send out a note after the planning meeting to confirm
whether or not the Ramble Warm-Up Weekend is ON or OFF.....

Help !!! Help !!!

This mail list was meant for TWO WAY communication !! The exchange
of helpful ideas & suggestions between Ramblers can be very useful !

We REALLY need some feedback on several issues - the most important
is: The Ramble Warm-up Weekend at York Soaring Club on June 10th & 11th !!

This will involve considerable time, effort, and expense - we are
happy to do this, <IF> there is enough interest !! If not, no problem !

If everyone feels this is too much, or too soon, then that is OK,
we'll just have the planning meeting on Sunday June 4th, and see everybody
at Brampton Airport on Friday, July 7th, for the Ramble Kick-off Party -

Not a problem.... We just need to know !! We need to know IF
there is ENOUGH/ANY interest, AND... HOW MANY are likely to come ???

Of course, if we DO decide to go ahead with the Warm-Up Weekend,
and the weather's really bad, we'll be at the gliding club all alone,
with lots of Polish sausages & burgers & beer ... :-) except for those
who DRIVE in !!

It would be helpful to know if anyone is planning to bring a camp
stove on the Ramble, as well. This will help for the planning meeting,
as some extra planning for getting breakfast food might be needed.

Bob,
The warm-up is a GREAT idea. But I don't think we can make it at that
time. Gwen is having dental surgery that week and I don't know if she
will be able to travel, or even fly.

However I will see when the time comes and maybe drive up or fly for a
NOT RON.

Still don't know if we can make it but am doing everything to be ready.

Thanks for the feedback, Phil ! We'll see you at the meeting
on Sunday. (Please remember to bring the Mountain Flying book ...)

At the moment, it looks like we will not have the Warm-Up on the
following weekend, but instead have a Fly-In to Gore Bay Airport,
on Manitoulin Island, to camp, on June 24th & 25th. This would be VERY
USEFUL, as getting to Gore Bay covers a big chunk of the first day of
the Ramble . <All> to be decided at the meeting .....
(In keeping with 'navigation by consensus ! :-) )

Will keep everybody updated !!
