Interesting what Nav Canada wants money and cant keep there end of the
bargain.

You're right, Len !!

I just LOVE paying for stuff I don't use, or can't get ....
and I've heard they are running around Ottawa right now with
papers they say prove that it costs them $1,800/year to service
EACH light aircraft --- they want to increase our fees !!! :-(
Grrrrrrrrrr......... !!!

Included in the GA category is Transport Canada and Canadian government
aircrafts, excluding the air force, all provincial government aircrafts, all
aircrafts up to (I belive 12000 lbs commercial and private ) and you and me and
our friend Bob Johnson. By me a map and if I can I be with you next year( if I
have MONEY)
But when I want a speed limit on the road past the house I cant get one
becuase it is NOT a City just rural and speed limits are not needed unless a
committee of 3 say so! What a waste of money! what is the roads department doing
? Common scene as gone by the wayside!

Gee I figured I'd wasted the cash but I did get the old maps (because I
ordered them when you said to ;) )

For just passing through, the sketch in the Flight supplement (also out
of date) and the navigation chart should be sufficient for Calgary. I'm
not aware of any other major airspace changes such Toronto is doing??

It looks like the E17 WAC chart might include what is on the Winnipeg
VNC. I was going to make another attempt to get the next Flight supp
before we go. If I place another order I can add an E-17 for you if you
wish. I find WAC's fairly useless though.

You don't really mean to suggest that Navscam might be more interested
in profit and high salaries than safety do you ? BTW the number I heard
from them was $14,000. per G/A aircraft not $1,400.
