Friday's Rambling .....

Hi Ramblers !

Well, as usual, we're running a 'little bit late' !!
I know that's a big surprise to everyone .... ;-) :-)

Had a bunch of stuff to do, so will START packing
sooooon...... Weather doesn't look too promising here
right now, but morning should be OK.

There is a Fish Festival going on in downtown Tobermory,
all day Friday, so, if you start early, you could get a ride in
from Tobermory airport, enjoy the Fish Fest, and THEN
head over to Gore Bay to meet us ! :-)

With luck, we might be enroute by about 2 o'clock ...
maybe sooner .... Not a big problem , I suspect, as several
Ramblers have said they won't get to Gore Bay before
3 --- or 5, or 6 .... Oh, well, it IS Rambling !!

Still looking forward to a great supper in town with
everybody !

If you get there early, please ask Robbie to help you
find a B & B or Motel if you aren't going to camp - it might
be tricky later !!! Friday is often much better than Saturday,
but move quickly !!! There is an airport car - we'll probably
have to do 2 or 3 trips to get everyone in to the restaurant .
(Robbie will know which one is best - there was a nice one
overlooking the harbour ....)

Hi Bob !

We'll be watching the weather really closely on Saturday -
looks like we should get to Killarney maybe just before noon,
run into town, and might not leave until 2 or 3. ... There's
no big rush, and enjoying the trip is a big part of Rambling.

However ..... the way the stuff is moving up from the south,
we might have to scoot out of Killarney fairly quickly - maybe
1 pm, or even skip it completely !! - and get over to North Bay.
As always, we'll play it as we go, and do whatever is safest !
We might even be stuck in Gore Bay for 2 or 3 days, watching
it rain !! All part of the fun ! I'm sure we'll find some interesting
things to do and see ....

With Rambling, we can't even be sure which DAY we'll
be somewhere, let alone the time !! ;-) But you will likely
find us on 122.75 - air-to-air, unless there's a MF ....
I'll TRY to update the message at the Ramble Phone -
(905) 457-5238 - daily, so you can find us.

Look forward to catching up to you & Wayne along
the way - hope you can join us for a meal, or campfire, or
some cool refreshments ! ;-)
