Mountain Flying book

Some people have asked about the paperback book that was shown at
the meeting -

It is: Mountain Flying, by Sparky Imeson

NOT essential for the trip, and it MIGHT make your hair stand up !!
It <does> cover all kinds of scary situations that can happen in mountain
flying - but we plan to avoid almost all of these !! The book will
provide useful information on wave & ridge conditions, and is worth the
read, if you come across it (at a library, for instance ....)

If anyone else has suggestions on useful books, by all means,
post them here !

We will be talking about mountain flying on the way, and we will
do our best to prepare you for the route we usually follow, before we
get to it !
