Spring Gear, axles, wheels and brakes.

Looking for a clue cuz I sure don't have one! Got my gear legs mounted
yesterday and thought I'd get it on the gear this weekend but it looks
like thats not going to happen. I'm having a rough time figuring out
the wheel mounting. I have the silver matco wheels, matco brakes and
3/4" axles.

The only place I can find to mount the caliper without grinding for
clearance is sandwiched between the axle flange and the gear leg with
the caliper orientated straight down. When I install the wheel, the
brake disk is about 3/8" too far outboard and cannot engage the
caliper. I see two possible solutions. 1 - Enlarge the hole in the
caliper mounting plate to fit over the shoulder on the axle and mount
the caliper on the outboard side of the axle flange. Or 2 - make
spacers for behind the brake rotor. Not sure what is supposed to be
done - can't find a thing in the manual or spring gear instructions.

Anyway, thats the biggie but just a few more questions if you all don't
mind.

The wheel bearings have an integrated seal - never saw one like that. I
don't see any washer for between the bearing and axle nut. Not required?

Caliper orientation. Mounted straight down, the bleeder is sticking out
toward the front. I would think the bleeder would have to face upward
to get all the air out. I would have to do some grinding on the gear
leg or caliper to mount it that way.

What the heck is SG-19? It's a piece of .032 about 4X8". Not shown in
the exploding diagram or mentioned in the SG instructions.

Thanks guys, pretty exiting to be getting this close to getting that
table out of the garage!
