Over size tires

Any Rebel out there has tires larger than 8.00 x 6, I'm planning a trip to Alaska in Mid September, like to switch to larger size tires, I'm considering 8.50 x 6, or larger, any one out there can shine me some lights?

We have 8:00 -6 on our Elite as a MAM upgrade and there is only a hairs breadth of room from the tire to the caliper. That after MAM supplied new calipers as the originals were interfering. I looked at spacing them out but the longer AN3 bolts required were about US$8.00 each at the time plus having to make the spacers.
