[rebel-builders] metal, wood, or composite prop

Hi Chris,
I have flown with a Warp drive 3 and 4 blade and am now flying with a
Catto 3 blade that I love. A lot of others are flying the Prince prop.
I have not experienced any flat spot with any of them. The Warp just
didn't like the 4 cyl Lycomings at low idle speeds due to the style of
construction, but that was the prop, no effect on engine performance.
I really like the fact that my Catto weighs 13 lbs.
Sort of thinking out loud (or with letters,), how much time does anyone
spend at that rpm? Maybe on decent for landing, but throttle response is
immediate, on take off the only time I've had a slight stumble is when I
should have leaned a little for density altitude, but 10 sec later I'm airborne
off water, I guess I'm curious where this thought even came from.
Playing with race cars a lighter flywheel gave much quicker rpm.
Guess I'm just rambling
