[rebel-builders] Avionics shelf in tail - mounting AHRS unit etc

Jason,
I am installing dual Blue Mountain Sport in my Elite. Yes the
magnetometers should be level although there is a "set level" software
function that is supposed to take care of discrepancies of up to 10
degrees. On this setup the AHRS is a single unit with the display but
the mags are seperate are quite small. I was able to mount one in each
wing directly to the skin using shims at one end.

Guys,
Has anyone installed an EFIS in their Moose or Rebel? I am guessing that there needs to be a shelf or platform in the tail, level with the lateral axis of the fueslage, to install the AHRS box?
Anyone have any pics?
Thanks, -Jason
