The Murphy Builders Site

I am looking for a tail spring for an Elite. Mine got bent after dropping the
plane on it's tail...... that was after I taxied off the edge of an apron into a 8"
drop off then sinking into muskeg. And yes, there were toothpics for
everyone. I just got off the phone with Jeff at MAM and he advised that it
would be several months before they do a production run on those. I'm
grounded until I can find a spring.

I'm hoping that I can possibly purchase one from someone who went straight
to floats, or acquire one from someone who is in the early part of the build
and won't need it for a few months, and then Jeff would send one when they
do the next production run.

My only other option is to put it on floats for the summer............. at least
that's what I told my wife.
