[rebel-builders] New issue FUS-30 thickness and FUS-30 doubler

Craig/Ron,

Thanks for the replies (especially Ron's very detailed explanation...it's very
generous of you to share your time like that).

The good news is that I have yet to start riveting all my skins, so FUS-30 is
sitting on my bench as we speak. I know Craig and Ben Ransom have some
nice phtos of their construction and fitting of the FUS-30 doubler, so I'll start
with Ben's 2 x 4 forming block trick and put together some wood "clamps" to
screw into the table.

By the way, I see that both Craig and Ben have photos of their FUS85/fus87
tailspring bolt install brackets with the AN3-5A bolts installed as per plans:
heads on the inside. How did so may people get this to work? In my case I
could never get the second one in once the opposing bolt was installed.
Short of using one grip-length smaller (or cutting off some threads) this looks
like a magic trick!
