1/2" wrench will give the slider bolt a spin if that's what you wanna do.

Would have called but was scrambling with wife in Emerg during my
pre-arranged dash there and back by truck....Saw a lot of "interesting"
stuff.....

shipped today

Hi Wayne !

You should have called if you were down - I'd buy coffee,
or a beer, if you drove ! :-)
(See anything you liked ??)

Congratulations on reaching 100 !!

I usually oil my gear struts every 2nd or 3rd flight .... been a
looonnnnggggg while !! :-( What size are those bolts, again ??

Hope to get out from behind this keyboard & go flying
again soon - after giving it a bath, lube, and gear leg fairing ....

Likely will be after Sun 'n Fun ...

Just some self serving spam !

Shipped the 100th and 101st pair of die spring struts today, that I've
been mfg'g since 1994 for the Rebel, some Renegades, a couple of Mirandas
and a few others.

I haven't had one customer contact me, after shipping, in regards to the
struts... so in the consumer market place that speaks volumes itself !

For those that have them... remember.. you should lubricate at least once
a year. Possibly a little more often if stored outside. A bit of oil down
the tube so it lubes the slider area between inner and outer tubes and a
quick spray of high pressure grease in the bolt slot behind the spring to
keep it lubed and moisture out.

Have a set here in the hangar on a customers airplane that were seized so
tight it took 4 tons force to pull them apart. Built in 1995 or 1996 and
had never been re-lubed on a stored outside aircraft

Bobp...when'd you do yours last... looked pretty dry yesterday! lol

Cheers,
Wayne O'Shea
