Wing Attachment Spacers

Post by Gary Gustafson » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:21 pm

Today I installed the wings (painted) on my Rebel and I put
spacers in the front wing attach point to fill the gap. My
problem is that (after some pushing and grunting) each wing
aligns slightly different. The left wing at the attach point
is about 1/8th inch further forward than the right wing at
its attach point. I guess with more prying and difficult
effort I could get both the same. However, it seems to want
to be where it currently is.

Question - How much will this affect the slight difference
affect the flight handling characteristics of the Rebel? I do
no believe this to be a normal outcome. So how much play and
positioning of the wing attach point should be allowed?
