burdens [was "I have a request"]

I have a similar problem, Tim, only much worse. There is an issue I've been
reluctant to throw out to any individual, much less the whole group.
However, following your brave example, I've summoned the courage to do it
this one time. Maybe the answer will help someone else get through this
difficult process too.

Ever since Wayne held forth on the list a couple years ago about the
importance of putting the smooth edge of all washers next to the material,
I've been having recurring nightmares in which I fear all my washers may not
be oriented correctly, causing me to wake up terrified in a cold sweat. The
problem is so severe that once I was found apparently sleep walking in the
hangar at 3 AM, peering intently at one washer after another!

Does anyone else have this problem? There must be others who suffer as I do.
Is there any remedy? I've tried everything I can think of, including
exhaustive inspections (while awake too) over and over, but even that brings
no relief. (At first I blamed it all on Wayne, but eventually I realized
that might not be completely fair.)

I hope I can count on this group for thoughtful, kind and gentle support.
Please help!

Ron

PS - Perhaps I should wait another 25 days before sending this, but... I
just can't go on like this.

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but I will float it anyway.
Sometimes I have a question that I would like to ask a member of the
builders group directly.
But I hesitate to use the group email address because I don't want to
burden
the list server with something that only I might want to know. And,
sometimes the subject that interests me might be less than well received by
others.
