The list is too quiet so I thought I'd post something -- anything! I
recently made what I think is a nice and simple jury rig tool for
deburring
the inside of a hole ...those that you can't get to directly face on. I
had just busted off the last of the bits on one of those swivel dog-leg
shaped deburring tools, which I never felt any good at anyway. I took
an
allen wrench (aka hex key wrench) a little smaller size than the #30
hole,
and with a dremel tool cut off the short end just a snitch past its 90
deg
bend. Then I sharpened a flat onto the 90 deg bend and remaining stub.
To
use, I hold it at an angle to get the stub into the hole. Once in, I
straighten out and give it a couple turns while holding back pressure to
the inside hole burr. (using a slow speed battery drill) I put a mark
on
the allen key shaft to mark the side I need to angle it to when pulling
out
of the hole.

I used this to debur the inside of the cage posts. Worked great. (I
can
tell by having tested it on scrap that I could check both sides.) I
have a
heck of a lot cleco'd together, hoping to change out for rivets this
wknd.

Maybe I'm too dyslexic too visualize your contraption. A photo or two of it
would be great!
