Photos posted area 116-wing root firings

With the help again of Ted Waltman, 7 pictures are posted of the
fiberglass wing root fairings for my Moose. SR-108

Shown is the sequence of my lay-up procedure. I used 2" vinyl tape to
cover and fair in the cardboard and other materials & fill in the gaps.
Then marked the outline of the desired part size with a sharpie, (you
can see that it transferred to the glass in photo 31010). Next I
applied 6 or 7 layers of wetted fiberglass in 3 batches (31008). I
crises-crossed the ply's of each layer so as to not run all in the same
direction to obtain the desired thickness. When cured, I removed the
oversized fairings and trimmed them to size (31005). The final photo of
fairing in place is shown in (photo 31003).
Later I applied a bit of filler to make them smooth for painting.
