floatplane banning

I'm a paddler and hiker and I like the floatplanes although we are wheels only in the US. It makes me safer in the wilderness. There would be a certain perverse pleasure to say " Sorry, I can't pick up the hiker with the broken leg as my floatplane is banned. Those tree hugger nut cases certainly don't represent us "wise use" outdoors types.
