Hi Jean

Since you have the engine I'd do firewall forward.

Or you can put in the elevator controls and part of the aileron
linkages. Some of us made the control torque tube removable to make it
easier to lie on the floor and work behind the panel at a later date if
needed.

Recommend installing instruments and wiring on the dash before you rivet
it in.

Stabilizer fairings can be done anytime.

I'd wire before upholstery but I'd install the engine before wiring...

Definitely do everything you can before you move it away from home
because that really slows things down. I'm always missing a tool or
something when I work at the airport.

Hello!

I builded my Rebel as per manual plus the Ontario mods.... The only chapter, not done yet, is the one who we put the wings on the fuselage... no space.
I will start the doors as the last chapter who can be done at home...

What should be next? Could you make some suggestion in which order those should be done:

-firewall forward
-electrical
-interior
-dash
-put the wings on the fuselage, fit control, make fairings
-paint

anything else!!! Those homework that are include in the 90% to be done...

I am proud of the amount of work already done but there is still a lot to do!

Hi Jean
I'd agree with Ken. Do as much as you can while it's close by. Install the
controls as far as you can without the wings, and I'd do as much wiring as
you can behind the panel before you install it, Lying on your back and
working in the dark is not much fun :-)

Hello Ken / Nigel

To late for the dash, already riveted, but it is ok. Thanks for the help. I will make the doors as per manual, and probably start firewall forward after that.

I think I mentioned before to leave the dash and windshield off until all
your wiring and engine controls are in place. It made it a lot easier to
wire behind the panel standing looking down versus laying on your back.

Cheers
