Hi Folks,

N2500V lept to the air on Monday. Both 30 minute flights were perfect and
the aircraft performs better than expected. Mine is a stock (no moose mods)
SR2500 Trike with an IO-540 C4B5 and constant speed Hartzell prop and has
the Pacific Northwest Aero vortex generator kit.

Take off with one notch of flaps (mine are 10-20-30 degrees) was less than
500 feet at 2,240 pounds. At this weight the climb rate was unbelievable
(I'm still checking my data logs to be sure I wasn't halucinating, but I saw
1,820 fpm at 87 kts steady). The landing was perfect with nosewheel in the
air for 100 feet after touching down around 50 kts (maybe less).

I am going to love this bird.

Once I get the interior back in, I'll send some more photos. Oh, and the
stripes aren't on it yet either.

More info:
With the nosewheel and constant spped prop up front I needed 12 lbs in the
tail to bring the w/b to spec. at all configurations. My first flight was with CG
at 13" from LE moving forward to 12" from LE with fuel burn. My empty weight
(1,813 lbs) is a little heavy, as I'm dual electric, two batteries, two
alternators, plush interior, constant speed prop, nosewheel, fuel injection
adds another fuel pump, etc.

Thanks for your help over the years.

Thanks,
Fred Darnell
