Water rudder rigging

I'm getting ready for first flight in the next 2 weeks and finishing up 1800
amphib float attach.

The water rudders connect to the air rudder at the horn that controls the
tailwheel (when on conventional gear). All pictures I have seen show the
water rudders connecting to an inboard hole on this bottom rudder horn and
not using the same hole as the tailwheel.

My lower rudder horn was predrilled with only one set of holes for the
tailwheel.

How far inboard should the water rudder holes be from the outboard tailwheel
hole? I am building an Elite, the horn looks different than on the Rebel.

Alternatively, what water rudder deflection angle are Elite/Rebel/Moose
float builders using? Same as air rudder of around +/- 25 degrees?

Thanks,

Eric Fogelin
