[rebel-builders] Rebel/Elite rear float attach reinforcement

Several, Garry !

Too bad Wayne is still up north - he has lots of suggestions.

One is to put doublers (1/8" !) on both sides of the float
fitting attach bulkhead, running 6" or so in both directions.

Another is a large, diamond shaped patch on the skin,
covering the attach area, and extending up about 6 or 8"+
onto the side, centered on the bulkhead.

I think I recall Jack adding a section of ST-28 running
diagonally up from the attach area, rivetted to the side
skin, all the way up, as high as he could go ...

Anyone got more ??

Does anyone know where or if there has been a reinforcement protocol
developed for the rear float attach points
where the aircraft has sustained some damage at the attach points due to
a hard landing? Pictures? Descriptions?

The first 2 photos in file are 317 - Elite float installations are of
doublers on the bulkheads where the rear float attach point goes.
