[rebel-builders] MAM aircraft sales

Hi Tom !
Murphy is still selling kits ! Like several other vendors, they
skipped Oshkosh this year ... it is a bit expensive, and the
economy is not healthy. Actually, we were surprised to see
about as many people at OSH this year as last - but fewer vendors.
This was especially noticeable in the buildings - they had removed
one full row of vendor booths, making for nice wide aisles - and
there were fewer aviation vendors, more jewellery, chairs, etc....
The Yukon was not completed to the "show" stage, and they
felt it best not to bring it again that way - and save the ~ $50K
the show would cost, to use on completing it.
Several people we spoke to said they were surprised by the
crowd, but figured there were many folks there who were
unemployed, and so had free time, and wanted something to do !
Be interested to know who was saying Murphy were not
selling kits ..... surely not Aerocomp !

I haven't been watching this site for awhile, but has anyone heard
anything about MAM discontinuing the sale of full aircraft kits? I heard
this at Oshkosh and hope it is not true, but when AeroComp shows up at
Oshkosh and MAM doesn't, I get worried. Tom Packard
