water access

FOKM is ready to go back on the water after 3 years on wheels. One of
the things I want to do is to move the airplane from land to water by
taxiing or equivalent from runway to water. This used to be possible in
Alberta at Cooking Lake but with the lake level dropping 4' in the past
two years it is no longer possible.

The reasons I want to do this are straightforward. The system has not
been tested since repair and I do not want to land on an untested
arrangement. I plan to do some taxi tests and a takeoff test to ensure
the floats are satisfactory prior to actually landing on water with them.

Does anyone know where I can do this in western Canada? I know that
Nelson is feasible with difficulty - the aircraft must be moved down
about 6 feet to get to the water so it is not particularly simple to do.
