[rebel-builders] Arlington air show

Dear Rebel group:

I would like to invite the Rebel builders to my Hangar (M11) who are at the
Arlington air show on Saturday from 1:00 until 5;00 PM for an informal get
together with fried chicken,hot dogs,potato salad, and soda . We did this
last year and it was an enjoyable afternoon shooting the bull and talking
"Murphy stuff".
My hangar is on the East side of the field just off the end of runway 34
The doors will be open and my and Steve Sloan's Rebel will be parked near by.
The shuttle can take you to the Airport office and we can pick you up
there. Call my cell phone (425 314 1177)
Or you can taxi there. Just cross runway 34 at the south end and you are
there!! We might have to check with ground control so as not to screw up the
show. Earlier is OK.
If possible...... Please let me know if you can attend so I know how much
food to gather up.

Thank you Richard !

I'm sure there will be some 'Rebels' there to join you - wish
we could too !

We'll have to take a rain check - until next year - -- we're
Rambling Eastward this year - to Quebec, and maybe Prince Edward Island.
Next year, we hope to Ramble to Both coasts again, to celebrate 100 years
of flight in Canada !

We certainly enjoyed the party last year !! All of the Ramblers
commented on how great the food & hospitality was, and we look
forward to seeing you all again !

Hello Dick:

Count me in Dick! I plan on making the trip early Saturday, weather permitting of course.

As a Rebel builder, attending the festivities last year was fun and very educational. Had great time swapping stories, asking questions and taking photos of all the Rebels. It was nice to put faces to the flyers and builders in the group as well. Your hangar is a perfect venue for a BBQ gathering with an extra treat as the location of the hangar gives you the best view of the afternoon air show.

If you need anything, please let me know.
