Fantastic, Paul! Many congratulations for a great achievement. As I'm sure
you know, it's very inspiring to the rest of us. Do keep us posted on your
W&B, performance, etc., when you have a moment between grins!

magnum prop.
Only issue was a bad right brake on roll out.
That and auto fuel stains on the wing from a mud dauber filled vent line.
Blew them out the night before too!
Darn that's a good flying airplane!
Posted two pictures to the Rebel completion section. Can someone more

Congrats!

pics, resized... for anybody who wants a super easy tool for resizing pics,
try the Microsoft Powertoy ImageResizer.

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... ySetup.exe

Download and install this utility, and then you can simply right-click on
your image file, and the popup menu will have a "Resize Pictures" option.
Same way you would right-click and select copy or paste.

Nice looking plane. It gives me more incentive to keep building and
be able to post pictures like yours on the web site. I think I am
seeing a new Rebel about every other week.

What is your empty weight and COG?
Gary

Paul,

It was great hearing about your first flight. I have my O-320 hung on the
firewall and still have a long way to go before first flight.

Ben:

The deal with 616PM......

My sister-in-law was born on 6/16.

My second son was born on 6/16.

I met my ex-wife on 6/16.

I married her on 6/16.

21 years later I divorced her on 6/16.

Could not wait 'till 6/16 this year to fly it.

Jose:

For those of you kind of out there on your own, planning the test flight
senerios goes pretty well if you can follow the suggested segments in AC
90-89A. Make yourself some 3 X 5 cards to follow for each flight and enjoy
the heck out of being both a builder AND a test pilot. Just get current and
comfortable in a taildragger and KNOW the field you are working out of.

Gary:

Empty weight was 998. COG was 11.05. Both batteries are over the rudder
peddles. The soob turned out heavier than wanted but still well within what
a lot of the Lyc are coming in at.

Rained like heck the last couple afternoons. Soft field take offs
tomorrow!!!

Paul
