The Super Rebel (SR2500) had a gross weight of 3000 lbs, the Moose (SR3500)
is 3500 lbs. When the Moose first came out, it was called an SR3500... but
understandably there was a great deal of confusion trying to figure out the
difference between the SR2500 and SR3500 when the 2500 gross weight was
3500. ;-)

Anyway, I bought Moose #195SR in January 2002, and I believe the base price
at that time was around $28,000.

Any yes, you can buy everything you need to turn an SR2500 into a Moose. In
fact, when you buy a Moose, you get an SR2500 manual along with the
supplemental manual to turn a completed SR2500 into a Moose... and from
these you must figure out how to build a Moose. It can be a bit confusing
sometimes when the manual calls for SR2500 parts that you didn't even get
because they have been replaced with something else for the Moose.

Can anyone tell me what a SR kit cost 7 to 8 years ago??
What did Murphy do different to the SR when they sold the SR 3000. I know
it is not a Moose, rated at 3500. According to the seller of a kit i
found i can
get the parts from Murphy to make the 3000 a 3500 is that correct?
