Hi Roger
I've routed all my cables above floor level. And I've separated the coax RF
cables from the other wiring to prevent as much interference as possible.
Just finished the second wing... moving in the right direction :-)

Subject: [rebel-builders] Planning electrical wiring
I am working on the tail cone of Elite 709. I am thinking that I
will enlarge some of the tooling holes in the bulkheads to
accommodate a rubber grommet and a 0.5-inch OD high-density
polyethylene tube for the wiring to the electric trim. I will
probably run this tube to the right of the centerline under the floor.
The cabin area looks like more of a problem because I will need a
larger tube (0.75-inch OD) to include antenna cables. Also, there
may be possible conflicts with control cables, fuel lines, and
control push rods. Then there is the issue of how to get around the
cabin carry-through structure, which supports the landing gear and
the wing. I would like to put the wiring under the floor, if
possible. How have others routed the wiring? What routing do you
recommend?
