Well, mine is #207 and the 6403's are called for in the original manual.
I'm thinking I want to do all I can to prevent a headache. Bob, my
confidence/skill level is not up there yet!

They are not called out in the original manual.. you have an updated manual
Craig. Very doable with regular 1410 rivets... and mine are that way
leakfree since 1994. But why do it.. when tank rivets are much more
dependable and easier to build with. Flabergasted that MAM "doesn't sell
them anymore" ! Have they quit selling parts... as they obviously supply
them with a kit. I'm really mystified with that statement... but I got
lambasted for the last builders statement I agreed with in regards to Murphy
so I'll chalk this one up to a misunderstanding/miscommunication as well.

[rebel-builders] Rivets Needed

Post by Craig Walls » Sun Feb 19, 2012 4:38 pm

Wayne,
I must have an update in my '93 manual. I'll have to look. As far as the
rivets from MAM, Stephane said builders were pissed at what MAM was charging
because they could get them from A Spruce cheaper so they decided not to
offer them on the side. Anyhow, I found the right ones form the same people
MAM get theirs from. Here's their info in case anyone else runs into a
similar problem.

Mattic Industries Limited
13395 76 Ave Unit 204
Surrey, BC , V3W 6K2

Phone: 604-594-7500
FAX: 604-594-4605

Thanks to all for the rivet help earlier. Craig

[rebel-builders] Rivets Needed

Thanks Craig
I too have been trying to chase down some rivets.
I called them today at the address below and was very pleased with the help they offered.
It's just to bad that I have to get them so far away.
