Hi all,
I went looking in the archives for pic's of the master cylinder change
that Wayne recommended for amphib ground operations. Couldn't find any
but if
anyone has sent any, let me know where and I'll go back.
I think the brake problem is a leverage problem. A change in the master
cylinder attach to pivot point may help a great deal. My opinion, others
are
welcomed.
I'm also looking for the proper way to support the master cylinder if I do
move it to the floor from the torque tube.
It's not that I can't use the way it's designed, I just want to make it
better.
Back on the water 2 days ago and still grinning.
Thanks all for the help,
Curt

Hi Curt I've always felt that it is a dirt problem. a little bit of oil in
the water or dirt in the water and it sticks to the rotors. Whenever I get
poor braking action I sprat about 1/2 a can of brake cleaner on everything
then taxi around and rebed the brakes. I do agree that some more leverage
wouldn't hurt.
