[rebel-builders] Use tax on new planes?

Might have been COPA paper but I read within the last week that this is
BS being propagated by a disgruntled pilot who is banned from sun'n fun.
Right from FLA officials they say policy is same as everywhere else -
state tax only applies to FLA. residents.

know I saw an article on this in AOPA magazine some months ago. However, I
don't recall it listing any comprehensive resource where one could learn
where to avoid and for how long with newly registered planes.
