bungee installation...

Hello!
I made out of delrin, 1" diameter bushing that fit over the AN6-35A and between AN970-6 washers. I bought shock cords rings #9044 as per "files" (12 of those) I have install the first one but I think
there is nos space for more than 2 on each side. Up to now, or the bushing are to bigs or the washers too small! His someone used the same patern as me? and what did you do?
