[SPAM][rebel-builders] Insurance in US

Dale,
I obtained insurance for my Moose from Falcon (in '06) just before first
flight; just renewed and premium was down slightly. Insurance - all
coverage - isn't cheap. I had hull insured all during the build years, with
Avemco (in case of fire or storm loss - no in-flight, of course - not too
expensive) - with their word that they would insure for flight when I was
ready. When time came - they refused - however, wanted to keep the other
aircraft that I had. This really p__ed me off, since they said they would
insure - and I'm a pretty high time pilot with many thousands of tail wheel
hours. I told them to stick it where the sun won't shine.

It is time to find insurance in the US for the Moose I have built. Do any
of
the builders here have any recommendations for getting quotes for the fly
off and then coverage afterwards.. Thanks Dale Fultz SR-033 N269DF
