The Murphy Builders Site

I have a Sensenich 76 x 56 on my Elite Amphiib I have
found a 78 x 47 Mcauley Borer prop I would like to try
out problem is the bolt hole size on the Mcauley is
3/8 and the engine is set ip for 1/2 inch. Can anybody
tell me if I can machine out the 3/8 to 1/2 to mount
the prop without compromising the same?
