[rebel-builders] Final Inspection: Forgot to mention

They get weirder all the time Mike. I knew they'd started nailing Ontarian's
about the gear leg bolts, but seat belt attachments...give me a #*($()!
break! As for the cable to the mixer in the back...those will NEVER rotate
either. Funny I can legally use a nytrol nut on a bearing'd pulley (that may
very well seize and make the bolt rotate), but I can't use it on a properly
installed leg bolt, or especially a shock strut bolt that will never rotate.
IF the gear bolts would rotate and loosen the nut themselves, it would
surely cut my change over times to floats for me in the spring...but I
always have to remove them manually for some reason! LOL

On my final inspection, the only items I got snagged for were rotating
bolts. Anywhere there is a bolts that could potentially rotate, the
inspector wanted to see drilled bolts with castle nuts. I used fibre nuts
wherever MAM called for them in the manual. Areas of concern included main
landing gear and strut attach bolts, seat belt attachments and the bolts
attaching the control cables to the elevator horn CC-68.

Yeah the seatbelt thing has bothered me for a while now. Mike I'd rather
take a chance on the seatbelt falling off rather than the chance of a
cotter pin in the butt. Or more likely in Kathy's when you take her up the
first time.
