[rebel-builders] Rebel - Flap deflection

Hi John !

Wayne's got it - Negative 6 is standard, but you can
add a hole & go to negative 10 or 12. It will improve cruise
speed & handling in rough air. Going down, it's 6, 12,
and 18 degrees.

I always take off and land with full flapperon - that's the
way they were designed, to change the whole airfoil...

You will hear of many different techniques ....

I'm filling out the paperwork for the C of A and they have a box that asks
for flap deflection. Being new at this, I'm not sure what it is exactly -
and don't have the books in front of me.

Any help of this is appreciated - I'm sure someone knows - although some
say you don't have to use any flaps with the Rebel!!!!!! Thanks
