SR/Moose flaperon setup

Post by Tom Packard » Sun Feb 19, 2012 4:10 pm

Question for those with completed SR/Moose planes. I'm trying to mount my Tru Trak AP roll servo between the two aileron push tubes near the cabin top. It requires a small bracket mounted to the slider so that the forward end of the CC-149 center control tube is lowered about 1-1.5". This will allow it to clear the bottom of the servo. However, to position the servo correctly so that the capstan drive is centered with no flaps, I need to know where the slider is positioned with no flaps and how much it moves forward toward the stop with full flaps. My wings aren't mounted and I have not mounted the main control tube assembly. Can anyone give me an idea of where the slider is positioned (gap between the forward end of the slider and the stop) with no flaps and what distance it moves forward with full flaps?
Thanks for any input on the subject.
