[rebel-builders] SG 14

If you don't mind the extra weight...no reason not. I hole saw the holes and
then use my air shear to cut the fingers out.

Well I'm at the point of installing the famed spring gear.
The manual says to lighten the SG 14, this is where you cut a 2 1/8
hole between the ribs and then cut them out on an angle

this shows a little what it looks like?
My question then is can I leave the SG14 as a whole plate rather than cut
them this way? On the inside of the cabin where the seat rails will go, I
just don't like the way it will look!
Any help out there?
