IMO it would be a waste of 80lbs usefull load and a lot of money. How muchI just heard that Cessna is now going to put in ballistic parachutes in all
new 172's and 182's. Has anyone put in (or thought of putting in) a
parachute into a Murphy? The one being put into the 182 is rated for 3200
lbs., costs $17K and weighs about 80lb.
