ballistic parachutes

I just heard that Cessna is now going to put in ballistic parachutes in all
new 172's and 182's. Has anyone put in (or thought of putting in) a
parachute into a Murphy? The one being put into the 182 is rated for 3200
lbs., costs $17K and weighs about 80lb.
