[rebel-builders] floats sealing

The floats were built by MAM with Proseal. Any of the areas that I worked
on, when I stretched them into 1800's, is done with Sikaflex 1A that
can/should be able to be dissolved with Acetone.

The "tank' rivets are RV6402/3/4/5/6. Depending on the length you need I may
have some, or availabe of course thru MAM ...or they should be.

Wayne,

Is the grey stuff on FOKM's floats proseal? Either way, what is a
useable solvent to get some of it off - especially at the horizontal
strut/float junctions?

What is the type number of the AVEX rivets for tanks/floats - I think
they do not open on the shop side as much as ordinary rivets.

Garry

PS - I got the yellow things off with about 1 1/2 days of work.
Incredible.

Thanks Wayne. I think the repairs have been done with ordinary Avex
rivets and then prosealed. Probably okay most of the time and then just
replace any that leak. I'm busy putting the new style rear spray rails
on right now. A few leaks at the moment but no big deal. I'll have them
tight by weeks end and ready for spring.

Cheers,
Garry
